Ideal for wood burning and multi-fuel stoves, open fires, and pizza ovens, our 100% kiln dried logs in crates measure on average between 22–25cm in length, with a moisture content of under 20%.
Firewood Crates
Assuring great value for money, we supply crates of kiln dried logs – when stacked in crates, it is possible to pack 50% more wood into the same area, when compared with bulk-bagged or loose loads! Our XL Mega Crate is equivalent to 2.00m3 (Loose). The popular Mega Crate offers the same volume as approximately 50 of our nets or fireboxes. Available in Ash, Birch or Oak its dimensions are 1.145m x 1.05m x 1.2m. (external) – Equivalent to a whopping 2.00m3 (Loose).
We have been working hard to reduce our non-recyclable products and we have now cut out the use of all single-use plastic sheets and wrapping, transporting our crates using a reusable cover to protect the firewood from the weather as we deliver. These covers are also 100% recyclable and can be purchased from our website.
Not only have we reduced our single-use plastic we have now been able to lower our Carbon Footprint by sourcing 50% of our Kiln Dried Firewood from local woodlands which are kiln dried right here in the West Country.
PLEASE NOTE – You will always receive your delivery direct from ASHWIN’S using our own vehicles & staff! We DO NOT use a 3rd party courier so you can be assured we will go that extra mile to try and get your crates to your desired location and unlike others leave them at the kerb side!
